It makes the forums a worse place. It's a place to discuss the game. If that behavior isn't punished, then everyone will "shoot their long shot" because, heck, why not?

Nothing personally against the OP, but I hope there is a forum ban incoming after saying "yeah I read the rules and don't really care"

In other words, "so long as I get my free games before I get banned I don't care about breaking the rules".

Maybe this person has keys or whatnot via humble bundle and waits for sales. But anyways it's awesome if someone did get them the game =D

Serious answer, though: Usually a warning and a thread lock. If you've been a problem before, possibly a temp or even permanent ban from the board.
