Tunneler mechanoids unable to operate deep drills.

Are tunnelers only meant to work on surface mining or am I missing something? Makes it rather hard to run a mechanoid-only playthrough.

By the time most players get tunnelers they'll have likely mined out the majority of the map already. At least that was the case for me in my plains map where there was sparse hilly terrain with iron in it. I had to actually get a deep drill going to mine enough metal to even build a tunneler lol only to find out the chap can't even deep drill and my disappointment being immeasurable at this prospect. Just wanted to scrap the guy right there and then. Takes up bloody 3 bandwith too, the hoarder. It's decent in combat I suppose, it's quite tanky that is true, but it's also as slow as a turtle. Can't imagine how fast it would be traveling on the world map tho since I haven't taken the guy for a spin yet.
