Do I need to manually turn it on and off every time there's something to haul? that feels bleh.
Use a double door system (a door, a space and another door) so air can't move as freely. Or put another cooler in so it doesn't matter.
That said, I wish mechs would just go into power saving mode if they have nothing to do rather than go wandering. Even my computer has power savings mode
Yeah I like that idea. Maybe something similar to how beds are assigned. This way whenever they are idle they will return to their idle spot and remain there until needed.
The solution is pretty counter intuitive, keep them busy.
Overloading pawns with tasks is awful. but overloading work bots seems to be the best way to keep them from doing dumb things.
Especially if they each have their own so they can park where most often needed.
I hope some mod maker will have a go at it.
