Never ending regeneration coma
My vamp went unconscious from a regen coma, and literally 20 days have past, and none of their injuries have healed. Bug? F-f-f-feature?

Did I miss something? I don't recall any description saying it needed hemo; and vampire lore is full of vamps regenerating without blood, but I guess RimWorld vamps aren't the same. Thanks!

Yeah missing hemo or having vital organs removed while in Deathrest will both lock the vamp into perma-sleep until the organs are replaced or until they are given enough hemo to make it through the Deathrest period (2/day).

Note that if vital organs are missing (say for example that the heart got outright destroyed) then the Sanguophages will be stuck in a deathrest coma until a new one is operated in (from a "donor" or a replacement in the form of a prosthetic or bionic).

Sanguophages do not regrow lost body parts, they just heal scars and the like over time, so they get stuck like that without outside help if whatever is destroyed is vital.

(The exception being the brain, if the brain gets destroyed even a Sanguophage outright dies).

Vampires don't heal missing organs or body parts. They only heal cuts, bruises, scars, etc..

If a vamp would be considered "dead" then they will remain in a coma until you surgically replace the critical organs.

This is an excellent way to keep a Sanguophage prisoner for a long time in case you're trying to isolate genes from them.

For Sanguophage prisoners you can quite literally harvest every single organ that is harvestable, turn their food restriction to "nothing", turn off their blood supply, cripple anything you can that is left and they still wont die. Like this guy:

And for anyone asking, i didn't do this simple to be edgy, the DLC was still new and i was under the impression that they would eventually regenerate and figured that it would likely take more time the more damaged they were. I was wrong and i feel kinda sorry for this guy.
