Archite capsules?

I can't figure out how to use these things. Is it really obvious and I'm just missing it or what?
And yes I did the research project that says it'll let me use the capsules.

You need a genepack with a special Archotech gene, you can buy them off traders or get them as rewards. Then when you make a Xenogerm you can include the Archotech gene, at the cost of one capsule to print it. You can use the gene to make another germ if you want, but you use a capsule every time. It's worth the price, because Archotech genes include things like immortality, regeneration, the really good stuff.
