Quest to become sanguophage

Has anyone encountered the quest yet? I've been playing a couple of ingame years in my biotech playthrough but I haven't gotten it yet.

I assume its rare, I'm just really curious what the questline is like.
Whether its a single quest where one of the potential rewards is for a pawn to become a sanguophage. Or if its a series of quests with normal rewards but at the final (difficult?) one you get to become a sanguophage.

I just got one in which a Sanguofage crashed and I captured him... but now I have no idea how to make him turn my pawns :(

I got the quest shortly after I finished researching deathbeds, I'm guessing you can't get the quest until then. One of the reward options is to turn one of your colonists into a vampire. They won't be able to turn someone else into a vampire for 1.7 years without killing themselves though, but after that you can start to convert your entire colony.

You'd need to recruit him and have him inject his custom genes into a colonist. Alternatively you can feed him into the gene extractor until you have all of the genes that you want from him and produce your own custom vampire gene.

If you anesthetize him you can right click him, with a pawn selected, to absorb his xenogerm and become a vampire. alternately you can recruit him and implant his genes into another colonist, willingly
