Is there a way to prioritize work for mechs?
Hi!

I'm new to the game.

I've done the tutorial, then started a Mechanitor colony.

After I place down a wooden wall blueprint and select my pawn, I can right click on the wall blueprint and select "prioritize working on wooden wall (blueprint)".

Is there a way to prioritize building something for a Constructoid or hauling something for the Lifter?

I figured I can prioritize a bit by building stuff one by one, but it would be nice if there would be a right click - prioritize option for the mechs.

Thank you and sorry for my mediocre English.

I take those are made at a workbench yes? If so you can prioritize the work at the workbench the mechanoid is created at.

Hello!

Thank you for your post.

The Constructoid and the Lifter mechs were spawned along with my pawn upon starting the Mechanitor colony.

I haven't yet got to making more mechs.

I'm still trying to figure things out. I really like the game so far.

hes talking about prioritizing specific tasks for mechs to do.

so far i did not see anything of sorts and thats kinda the point of the mechs - you are not supposed to directly control them - thats what pawns and/or slaves are for. drafting them is about as much direct control you get and you can try using that to your advantage.

usually tasks are not priortized over others of the same kind meaning they will tend to pick the closest one. draft the mechs move them to where you need tuff to be done quicker and see wether they do it or not.

No problem!

You may need additional research to work on them (I have not tried out that part of the DLC yet)

Try to put down a research table and research anything that has to do with mechs. Maybe there are additional workbenches and items required.
