Black screen after enabling mods

Alright here's the trouble part.
The main menu ended up on a black screen after I was "testing" on enabling some mods.
Total black screen, tried unsubscribed or removing mod files but no luck.
No buttons were shown, no interactive options.

All my mods are working now :D I mean, the ones that have been updated

It was crapping out on me this morning, but I just tried again and it seems to be working as you guys said. Awesome! Now to run down which mods won't work until they get updated.

I'm getting a black screen with no mods installed and every reference to RimWorld deleted from my computer. Hard to delete "modconfig.xml" when the entire folder is deleted and isn't being regenerated because of the error.

Worked just fine last night, update comes along and now black screen.

Seems to be working fine for me too, same modlist as yesterday (mostly VE mods) and no blackscreen. It does seem to take a decent bit longer in the Initializing phase of loading, but at least it works.

Got rid of that error. Was lot of mods doing it. Many of Vanilla Extended did it. And few other packs. But seems more of them coming online properly now. So soon should be good to go.

If you have Vanilla Skills Expanded, try disabling it. That seemed to fix the black screen problem for me. That's just in my case though. This issue is probably being caused by some other unupdated mods, as well.

Edit: also try removing some of the storytellers if you still have problems.

set the affinity to cpu 0, game doesn't respond for a while then crashes, i've tried a number of other fixes; clearing configs, deleting workshop folder, verifying files. Nothing has worked thus far
