Ideology - a mood simulator, not worth at all imo.
Biotech - overpriced.
Generally game is more enjoyable with mods, that DLC's are just average.
Don't listen to this clown op if you like modded rimworld and can affort spending a bit of money to support the dev AND get hours of discovering fun content + access to even more top quality mods at the same time, i'd suggest you to get all DLC's
There's no real incentive to get it all at once either since dev doesn't want to devalue their product by sales.
Best you can hope is, what, 10% off from base game?
I've been playing it off and on for years without any DLC and only a handful of mods.
Consider the DLC as being content tailored specifically for experienced players that want something "different" and more expansive than typical mods. No DLC is "required" for any quality of life or gameplay improvement - They're add what they say they add and that's it.
Yes, absolutely. It's better WITH them, but still quite enjoyable without.
