Biotech DLC - can we switch off elements?

Say I want to do a run that is fine with children but 'no' to mechs of any kind, do we know if certain parts of the DLC can be disabled individually, or is it all/nothing?

You can disable the mechanoid faction already and then simply choose not to make any mech stuff. Unless my option to disable mechanoids is from a mod it might be lol.

We can already disable mechanoids, I don't see why that would change. The faction control on game start should also allow disabling all the xenohuman factions, though some of the xenohumans aren't specific to a faction and might show up occasionally. Human procreation can be disabled in a number of ways in game.

Thanks for the replies - I've played the child mods in the past and they're fun, but not every run.

For the reproduction part i would be surprised if you can't sterilize your pawns with a operation.

Hopefully an additive to their food to stop the 'I was operated on' debuff.

Yeah you can surely do a peaceful run using the scenario editor and turn off raids, or more specifically the mechanoid raids I'm sure. Some people might want to make a nice school without the threat of mechanoids coming to harm the poor kids. I think a lot of us want to experience the whole mod the first time around though so will probably leave the threats on.
