Stop eating the eggs!!!
I've got a nice little chicken farm going on and my 50 chickens are quite happily laying. But my hauling dogs eat htem before the clook has chance to turn it into yummy kibble!!

Any way to stop this? Only way i can think is to prevent my dogs going into the freezer or chicken coop but that kinda stops them 'hauling'

Have your dogs haul anything but edibles. There's no reason why they should haul anything and everything. Just have independent animal zones and/or exclude your dogs from the animal zone you designate for chickens.

It may not be what you want, but you might have to restrict them hauler dogs to not go inside the hen pens. Then you could have you human haulers do the egg collecting. To let them focus, you just have to zone the haulers to home zone or something. That is, if the hen pens are inside home zone.

May I ask how you feel those chickens in a single area? Does one of the colonists have to or do you set the area large enough that they can forage, etc?

Stockpile for kibble.

Hauling dogs are worth the price of an odd egg that goes missing. At least carnivores don't eat plants...

I zone hauling animals out of the meals stockpile, but let them haul the rest. Meat, eggs, etc. So yes, sometimes they eat a bit of meat, but they're worth their weight in gold so i don't get mad.
