How do you get archite genes?

I've been trying to collect all of the different genes, but I've never seen any archite genes. Do traders sell them and I just need to wait for the right rng to get them?

Traders do sell them, but its rare. I think the two i managed to collect thus far was both from exotic goods traders (not 100% certain on that though).

Of course there is always the sanguophage (Vampire) route (A sanguophage gets all of them).

No, all archite genes currently in the game are found on vampires.

I got one from imperial trader so you should also get them in imperial citys.
