Animals ignoring traps...

If the bear is not in man-hunter state it only has a 25% chance to trigger it, it looks like you are just trying to hunt it or its hunting you.

your number is beyond "completely wrong", I've keep doing it until I've eventually starved to death, it never triggered the trap, the chance was either 0% or near 1%.

it was going on for a while before I decided to record it and I didn't kept recording it simply because it was more of the same, but I can guarantee anyone it wasn't 25% and this is either bugged or idiotic by design.
(also I have the latest DLC, if it matters)

Percentages are not a guarantee it would be rolled for each time not a promise of 1 out of 4. Animals not in manhunter state are also aware of traps and try to avoid them. Maybe something funky happened with trap placement and the visual didn't line up with how the bear pathed.

PS - do you have any mods installed that could effect it.

I don't think so, this is simply rえtarded design and I regret trusting this developer by purchasing the DLC because he clearly doesn't deserve my support. The only unfortunate thing is I can't refund it, but I wish I could.
Well, he's not getting me again in the future, now I'll just wait for DF and be done with this garbage.

Also left a negative review as a "f*ck you" to the developer for taking unearned money, I'll take that as a refund/repayment.

You assume 25% means 1 in 4 chance. If it gets rolled from 1000 you could not hit within the 25% for hundreds of rolls straight.
