Tips for ideal hemogen farm?
Ive already learned having doctors extract it from large groups of prisoners is not effective, so now Im wondering how to make an ideal farm candidate. Ive played around a bit and have a few questions.

!. I really dont know how blood works in this game so ive been removing a lung and kidney for profit and hoping it doesnt hurt their refill rate. Does anyone know? Is there a way to check blood loss recovery rate?

2. I just bought a gene that improves clotting, would that help them recover from blood loss faster? What about a healing enhancer?

3. Does size and race matter? It tells you early on that bigger colonists give more blood, does that just mean children offer less (they definitely do).

first tip: prisoners are only way to automate hemogen collection. Otherwise you have to manually add an extract bill or bloodfeed action
second tip: bloodfeeding has the same efficiency as extraction, so you will get the same amount of hemogen per amount of blood (a hidden number). You just spend medicine to get it in a pack basically.
It's supposed to be in short supply, thats just how blood and organic things work.

What is effective for you? how is your large group of prisoners not giving you enough blood? i.e. a vamp needs 10 hemogen per day to live and some extra for fun abilities, so 12-20 hemogen per day per vampire should be enough. I find 1 person can supply that.

1st question answer:From surface level, the percentage of blood loss doesn't go down faster with faster healing. You will have to hand calculate blood loss recovery, since it's not on wiki.

2. No, clotting and congealing stop blood loss, they don't increase blood recovery

3. No. You always get the same amount of blood per extraction: 20 hemogen. Children don't offer less, using the operation inflicts the same blood loss % regardless of body size(whether or not that is intentional idk).

I have 15 limbless prisoners feeding 5 vampires; 5 are on bloodfeed and 10 are on hemogen farm. My vampires never have to dip into the hemogen bag reserves unless they are out in the field, so it seems like 1 bloodfeed per vampire plus some hemogen farms for backup supply works well.

That was working well for me but I ran out of herbal meds. Im trying to maximize what I get per prisoner now. I am stocked up on herbals now but I havent been getting attacked by humans much recently.
