My 5 year old Vampire is still aging
So the description of a Sanguinophage says that you become "deathless and Ageless" So. Of course I immediately gave a 5 year old vampire powers. I wanted to make Peter Pan and never grow up. Only I still grew up. Apparently, the child growth stages are forced and trump the Vampire stats. Just a little sad I can't make a tribe of lost boys now. Missed opportunity.

Ya, many genes don't take effect until age 13.

Read the description of the ageless gene, it says that it slows down aging gradually more and more until reaching 18 when it slows downs entirely to a stop. So no under age peterpans.

Still a note, it takes forever to grow to 18, I started with a 13 yo vampire 1544 yo chronologically, now this vampie is 17 biologically, 1555 chronologically.

Well, unless you run mods, your idea was flawed from the start.

Having a colony of only children means that some jobs can't be done, like, at all, unless there's some hidden mechanism in place for that specific situation which I don't know about...

Maybe if you made one of them a mechanitor you could get mechs to perform some of the "impossible" tasks, but I'm not 100% on that.

Aging and growing are two different things.
