Pale yellow skin gene is called "Banana," Is this okay?

I'm sure Tynan would not have chosen this word on purpose, but "Banana" and "Twinkie" were words that was used to mock or insult other whitewashed Asians.
Just so happened to be, this word "Banana" is used to describe skin color gene...
I'm not sure how relevant this term is nowadays tho, just like twinkie now means something quite different. Because this would be simply chaning a line or two on xml file, I think it would be best to root out any potential problem :O

I was what the "bananas" and "twinkies" used to call a "Fob". We FOBs found that offensive. bananas and twinkies were words we used to fight them back, and our older generations used those words to make fun of the younger generations who are losing their own cultural touch. I believe this is the Asian version of the term "Oreo"(at this point, IDK if you think it's another made-up word or something). As many first and second gen Asian go through(or went through, for IDK how young ones are now) some sort of identity crisis revolving around their culture.

As I was creating a translation of the game, I stumbled upon the word "banana" which was used to create a name for the gene packs(not sure where exactly it is being applied yet) with pale "yellow" skin. Although I presume that it was not acknowledged by the creators of the game, as many of you think is not a problem, I thought it could potentially cause problems for whom did not like the word. so I wanted to bring it to the attention before it does become a problem.

The term was used a lot less frequently than I thought it was because nobody see it as a problem, so I only tried to explain my thoughts.

I'd appreciate you not making wild assumptions about who I am.

I suppose some can be, but I don't see any of that out of my Korean step mom, her family, or any other Korean I've ever met. I HAVE seen racism TOWARD Koreans out of other Asians, though.

I mean, I'm not doubting you've met Koreans like you describe. I'm just taking issue with the blanket statement that applies that to all or even the majority of Koreans as it doesn't match my experiences with them at all. I actually own two books on Bannanas, and can, and have, talked at length about just WHY bannana candy doesn't taste like bannanas (it's due to it's flavour being based on a now extinct type). I've also talked about why the Cavendish (our current fav nana) is going the same way!

People that suffered - and still suffers - with brutality and violence, that have parents from African backgrounds, people that were enslaved, they all have the right to be offended by something, right? Not only by words, but also by the graphical pixel violence nature of Rimworld. They all can count on you to advocate for them as well, right OP?
