Save our ship 2 1.4 when?

ive noticed i cant control my pawns manually cause of save our ship 2 being badly bugged, im not sure how save our ship 2 is interfering with pawn control but thats a thing i guess...

I do not know for sure as I am not involved but I did read a comment on the mod that suggests they will essentially be re-writing alot of the mod (remove un-needed code and such). The same comment (i believe from one of the creators) suggested instead of updating the mod they may just make a SOS 3.

There's an experimental build for 1.4 over on their discord. Have you checked your logs to see if there are any errors

There is a LOT of broken ♥♥♥♥ with the move to 1.4 and it's going to take them a good long while to get things working. There's a ton of logic around how to deal with pollution in space, for example. Non-trivial. I'm anxious to get it, too, but I'd deal with playing without it for now.

As Rigben said, I don't expect SOS 2 to be updated much besides some bug fixes and the like. Their main focus will probably be an overhaul of the existing SOS system for 1.4 and call it SOS 3.

Also I kind of want SOS to be it's own game at some point. lol

I really think for a new DLC in the future Tynan should work together with the SOS team so that the SOS team can get all the love and support that they need to integrate their ideal of SOS.

SOS really seems like the next step evolution of Rimworld imho.
