Rimworld Loading Defs Freezing

I recently started trying to play Rimworld again after a while away from home and found the loading screen being exceptionally slow. It started with an issue where the loading screen would freeze on initializing for several minutes, then finally load, but now there's an entirely new issue. My screen will take a long time on loading defs then remove all loading text and just be the picture of the background planet. I've tried waiting (I waited a couple of hours, which should be enough to discover that it's just frozen), and I've tried going into windowed mode. I think it may be a problem with the wall of mods I have, but I don't want to unsubscribe from them. Is there any other way to fix this?

Read the logs and start unsubbing to whatever is in the log file. Obviously you dont want mods running if they are not even working or causing other things to not work too.

Sorting them can also help a lot with loading times. Try RimPy.

I would do that, but the game won't go load to the title screen for me to check the logs. Are the logs saved in the game files somewhere?
