Map tiles

For some odd reason, my mountainous map tiles are not very mountainous, and its starting to stress me out, it seemed to only have started today and ive done nothing different..

nope its more like hills, theres hardly anywhere to make a mountain base >.>

think you are not next to something impassable, that would spawn in a massive wall of stone on one side.
But there are plenty of map editors or map generator manupulation tools on workshop to help (and may some of them are already active overriding stuff)

It's a world map.
It says mountains, it shows mountains. Not sure what your problem is.

i know what i posted dude, i posted the one of the world map to show it said mountainous but wasnt much mountain to dig a base into, but the kind soul above you kindly pointed out about needing impassable tiles near the mountainous tile (which I didnt know). please dont suggest what I wanted to post, i 100% know what I wanted to post.

thank you! i didnt know I needed impassable next to the tile for a massive spawn of mountain! you are a lifesaver! least you help & dont try to suggest what i actually wanted to post -.- thank you once again :)

lol, ok. good to have a friendly medium who can see your actual map which supposedly misses mountains from your mind directly without you posting a screenshot of that map. I had SAME problem, which was related to https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2773943594 mod, in which INSTEAD of generating Mountainous map it generated Small Hills. I hope you will never work as QA

I have that mod, ill have a look at removing that too, thank you, sorry if that seemed snappy, I just dont like people suggesting what I meant to say/post XD thanks anyway :)
