Anything in the error log?

If the UI disappears when you move your mouse over certain areas of your base then that can be a buggy object or map corruption in that "room." The game tries to show the room status/temperature and breaks the UI because something in that area is causing the game to freak out. This could be a bad object from one mod, or a modded object being broken by another, or an issue with a mod being removed and leaving behind something corrupted.

If the UI is disappearing randomly or all the time it's probably something broken with a mod that changes how the UI is displayed, this could include "performance enhancing" mods.

so would i have to go through each mod manually to figure out

If it's a buggy region on the map, you can sometimes look around and see what modded objects are in there and delete them to fix it. If it's a general UI issue that happens everywhere, you might have to go through your mods that sound like they have something to do with any UI elements or performance, shouldn't be a terribly long list usually.

In game you can turn on dev mode and press the show log button that shows up at the top of the screen to look for errors, that might point you in the direction of a certain mod.

if its a problem that happened recently you might wanna try loading a savefile prior to that if its using the same modpack for the most part. players like to just add mods on top over time.

if that savefile works it would be one of the mods you added afterwards.

if that issue appears on the older save as well it's most likely caused by an mod update. in that case you could test the mods that got updated since then (the workshop can list your subbed mods by update).

if neither is a valid option you probably have to check 1 by 1 or make a new pack from scratch

Looks like some of your mods might be out of date, lot of failed dependency checks on mods you have installed which makes me think they are looking for the wrong version of that mod (something is freaking out about Humanoid Alien Races references so it's probably an outdated alien mod). Adeptus Xenobiologis: Orkoids is also very unhappy and generating a lot of errors related to animal jobs.

As for your save, it looks like you removed some mods after starting the game and those are throwing a lot of errors, like you removed the Nyaron faction and Gloomy furniture, among other things, this has probably corrupted your save and there's a good chance it's the cause of the UI issues. Removing mods from a save is something you never really want to do unless you are 100% certain it wont cause serious issues and absolutely have to remove it for some reason.

I have 2 questions

1: Have you found a solution?
2: By any chance do you have or did you have Obsidian mods installed? I think that mod for some unknown reason is the problem.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
