what i meant is my map contains hundreds of animals i need to exterminate them via comand
Could use the explosion tool for tactical culling. And don't use mods that let wild animals breed or the the maps will be covered in boomalopes and boomrats. Could also spawn a stack of polar bears and make them very hungry though that won't work in the event of a boomrat/boomalope issue. Could also trigger a cold snap or heat wave that pushes map temperatures outside the wildlife's tolerance range and they will leave or die.

There is no actual command to exterminate wildlife.

Destroy dev tool, and click on the animals individually. One by one.
Discard works the same.
Tbh dono what's the difference.... ?

The easiest method would probably be to trigger a toxic fallout. It will take a few days though.

Conventional means? Antigrain warhead. Modded? Low-yield tactical nuke from Rimatomics mod. If it's good enough for Mother Russia, it's good enough for you. Most practical solution? Explosion (bomb) tool from dev mode.

Savefile edit, Make a back up first!!! but everything should be in there. if you remove the said animals from the files is should be gone in game.

I've done this with those pesky geysers dont know how to do it with mobs. Might be under a wierd (mod) reverence.

It turned out that not even bombing them with dev commands helped they just kept coming... so i deleted the save

I used to do it that way for geysers but it's a lot easier just using the destroy command in the dev console.

Hey, for future readers, you can remove all animals in the map with the dev tools. It's in the second tab. Check no animals and hit play, they all dissappear.

This removes ALL animals, so send your animals in a caravan. Once gone, check no animals, wild animals despawn, uncheck no animals, bring caravan back. Problem solved.

in development mode, spawn toxic fallout and then use destroy all corpses. type "debug" in the development mode search bar
I have a feeling the problem animals moved on years ago.
