fabrication bench.

I cant seem to keep someone working at the fabrication bench, they work for a second then stop. not sure what im doing wrong.

1. Force them to prioritize the fabrication bench by clicking and the right clicking the bench.
2. Go into manual priorities and set crafting to priority 1.
3. Lock them inside with the bench or disable all other work

Make sure it isn't running out of power, too.

Smithing is the work priority for using the fabrication bench, not crafting.

Same to you, crafting is not the work priority for fabrication.

I turned off all other work for one toon and it wont even let me force them to do it. i cant even bring up the option.

Do they have the materials to work? did you disable smithing or crafting? As doomdrvk said the fabrication bench is smithing instead of crafting, strangely.

It's not really that strange. Crafting is relatively unskilled labor like cutting stone blocks or throwing something into the smelter (and for some reason drug crafting is part of that job, though it uses intellectual or cooking). Using a fabrication bench to create complicated components is not unskilled.
