Animals walking into fire deliberately
Seriously. The ♥♥♥♥. It is one of the most basic instincts in a creature to run away from fire. Yet my domesticated animals keep wandering into it for no discernible reason. 'Oh hey look! An uncontrolled wildfire destroying everything in its path! Let's go see if we can eat it!'

Also, why can't I tell my colonists to extinguish creatures that aren't in my home zone? That's just annoying.

Zone the animals and that is not a issue.

Pawns don't update their paths after they've been set, so the AI will make a path that avoids the fire then as they are walking the fire spreads onto that path and they walk into it.

Fire and bullets are generally completely ignored. You'll often see wild animals sleep right next to massive wildfires, or have your own animals or pawns walk in a firefight between you and raiders to cloudgaze. For tame animals this can be fixed with animal zones.

And not being able to extinguish is indeed incredibly annoying. You can make the area your home zone temporary but it's still absurd colonists do not even consider patting out their burning friend purely because it happens in an open field instead of the dining room.

If I zoned my animals all the time (aside from "stay outside"), they would starve to death. If I zoned them temporarily that would be really annoying (I have a stupid number of animals that form the basis of my economy), especially since I don't generally notice wildfires until something important catches fire - usually an animal (or the stone walls surrounding my thermal generators).
