Replace lungs?

My colonist had his left lung destroyed, I can't find anything that allows me to build him a new lung? Is there a different name for a synthetic lung?

You can capture someone and force a lung donation, or you can try trade stuff for a new lung,

There's also a several mods that let you make your own replacement lungs but honestly just steal someone elses lungs. Works way better and cheaper.

I was able to trade for a couple of new lungs to cure a colonist of asthma - so I know you can buy them.

To the best of my knowledge there aren't any bionic or archotech ones tho - just normal ones.

Just take one from an inmate you have

I harvested an inmates lung and tried implanting it into my colonist but it didn't work. Still says her lung is destroyed.

If the surgery failed then obviously you are still missing a lung so you will have to try again.

If the lung is still missing after a successful surgery then you have found a bug; start by checking if any mods might cause such errors.

Thank god, I wasn't the only one. Imagine if this happened in real hospitals all the time?...
