You want to over cheat your cheese mods?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No, I won't tell you how to get to it.
there's quite a bit of info available here as well as youtube on how to defend the colony (drop pod or otherwise) them if you are willing to learn.
or dev mode as mentioned. its your game, play how you want.
I litearly got 2 save where the game started with ALL my starting colonists having plague, and since i didnt got any medical room, and no room at all, they obviously died whitout even having time to build a single wall.
Also i don't want to remove drop pod cause it whould reduce my chance to gain any of that aleardy way too limited steel.
Raids usually scale with colony wealth. Is your colony like a dragon sitting on a horde of gold? Ya gotta get rid of some of that stuff, bro. Pack it up and do some caravanning to offload some wealth. Exchange it for stuff like better weapons and armor. Or just more food that you can preserve. Whatever. This truly isn't a game about hoarding wealth (which is one reason why I like it so much), and sometimes it WILL punish you for doing so.
In addition, the game does have a "losing is fun" mentality, overall. It's billed as a story generator, not as just a colony sim. It basically says so in some of the game-loading flavor text. Something about it not being a skill test and that a lost colony is a dramatic story, not a failure. If that sort of thing isn't what you want, then maybe the game just isn't for you. I'm sure there are other colony sims out there that you won't have to mod to hell and back in order to get what you want.
A 20 thrasher/slasher center drop raid on adventure story basically requires a colony of 10 to be at a million wealth or higher (wealth capped). I don't see how you make it to a million wealth while "playing like normal" if your colony is not capable of handling a few enemies with low quality melee weapons. It sounds to me like you only recruited wimps and geared them all in low quality flak and cheated in a bunch of gold or something then got surprised when the game's wealth based difficulty scaling dropped an easy threat on you.
