Vanilla expanded insectoids

Tried posting elsewhere but couldn't get an answer. But anyone using this mod and when attacking over ran outpost of insectoids there's no loot? Like I cant get any of the cool new weapons or artifacts in this mod cause everytime I attack the insectoids there's no loot on the map

I've honestly never tried attacking a faction base of that mod. I just get the items as quest rewards or from traders.

If you are using Vanilla Base Generation Expanded I know that causes a lot of issues with generation and things not spawning that should. I'm not sure about Insectoid bases, but for example in my testing none of the various smaller sites I attack have ever had a power source with that mod so all their turrets and lights are useless, it seems to be one of the less tested and polished mods from the VE team.
