Deep Drill used up..
Any one know of a way or mod to make it show on the right instead of the top when a deep drill is done, it gets a bit fustrating having to hunt for the drills since on top shows for 3 seconds then is gone.

Sorry to hyjack the thread a bit, but what I find a lot more annoying with deep drills is that moving the drill is a lower priority than mining at it by default, so if I unforbid (required before moving) and then set a new location, unless I manually set a priority task my miner will just go and mine chunks instead, which even manages to block any haulers/builders from moving the drill for them.

I don't know of a mod that does that, but you can find messages you missed in the history tab and IIRC it will still allow you to zoom to the location. By default it only shows letter history but there's a check box on the tab that will make it show notification history as well.

It's not, they are completely different jobs, and by default construction is a higher priority than mining. If you left a colonist on construction and mining and set the drill to be reinstalled, they will reinstall it before mining it again.

That's kind of semantics, I know what you mean and it would be nice if setting a drill to be reinstalled made it so miners wouldn't use it. You can toggle the power or disconnect it from the grid with a switch or dead cable though. Doesn't really save much time though since manually ordering a pawn to reinstall it is only one click anyway.

If you get the mod work tab, you can set a number priority for the jobs, and you can even go in to more detail in the jobs and adjust priority levels. I always have hauling object set as a top priority for my hauler npc.
