Cannibal is so good I describe it as practically cheating. Like, you can live on an ice sheet, BECAUSE you are a cannibal, lol.
A lot of the good perks are situational.. where the bad traits are always a bother
Well, except maybe the odd visitor but who cares about those.
i just lost one of my best colonies, no mods to two of those. Made sure to leave two fighters to guard while my adventurers, well pillaged. The was not one wall left standing when my party returned. Raided after and lost lol needed those turrets, well everything. They make great story telling arcs.
I agree with tough and ascetics is really nice early on but than I have to move them to a cave or somewhere it wont bother me to see a colonist in a bummer of a room. I wonder if putting them in the barn could work.
Thats wrong, its not 5 percent penalty, but 5 shooting skill penalty, its lkke your trigger happy shooter with skill 11 shoots like level 6. The end result often be like 20 percent less chance to hit enemy or something
I still like this perk, you just need pump your boy with bionic eyes and drugs and give suitable weapon to make him killing machine
Well, with an ascetic, you only get a small bonus compared to what you could get later, as you develop your colony. It's ONLY good for the early game.
Industrious gives the same awesome bonus throughout the player's entire game and doesn't have a downside.
I'd agree with this one, with good defences every raid is lunchtime.
