was the cold, I got a notification that a chicken had died of frostbite, looked at my chickens, they were ALL at the last stage, so it was too late to get them into the warmth to save them, they all died within like the same in game night
You didn't keep your chickens in a heated coop and let them sleep outdoors in the cold.
You're a crappy livestock farmer ;p
It would be really nice if you cared better for your animals ;)
yes, but it would be nice if the game said "your chickens are freezing!" as some kind of warning. I've had this happen too, but it was an overheating issue. As it stands, the only way to know if there's an issue is to take a look at the animal to see it's "safe temperature" and monitor them individually.
Could have also been toxic fallout. Or drug overdoses. It is weird how they all died at once though.
i mean you can inspect the corpse and see what killed them. It was all frostbite. Just mad that the only notification was the first death, when it was too late to save the rest.
