Is there a true borderless windowed option?

I tried -popupwindow, but the taskbar is still visible.

I tried Borderless Gaming, and somehow RimWorld isn't compatible with that utility. It's worked with every other game I have, including Kerbal Space Program, which is also written with Unity.

Any options? It would be greatly appreciated if the devs could add this as a feature.

I have two monitors, so running in full screen is not an option.

Have you tried turning on auto-hide option for the taskbar? My laptop fights with me over the taskbar with several games like this, it’s the only thing I’ve found.

I run with dual monitors without issue...? Or is "not an option" a preferential thing?

Considering how frequently I alt-tab to a web browser or etc, not an option, since I like to let the game continue running in the other monitor.

In the 20 years I've been using Windows, I've never used autohide for a taskbar and probably never will.

Well, that's just wrong.
I use BG with RimWorld with zero problems.

When I try it, BG just endlessly flips to fullscreen for a millisecond then goes back to maximized window.

Ah ha, fixed it, somehow. Heh. I was messing around with BG and noticed the 'Toggle windows taskbar visibility' option. Checked that, still wasn't working but I re-enabled the -popupwindow option and RimWorld was now occupying most of the screen except for a tiny margin top and bottom. Went into graphics, changed it back to 2560x1440, and I think I have 'true' borderless now, thanks to that BG hack. eh, whatever

Same, I just leave the taskbar open on the second screen. I've had two screens for the last 14 years, didn't even know this was an issue for people!

Minor necro, but since I don't have Borderless Gaming, and this came up for me as the number one fix in google I wanted to help others fine an alternate solution. Which I found at
