Which mods to avoid performance-wise?
Ok, I have Rocketman, Rim73, Performance Optimizer. Any mod to stay away from?

Mostly jecstools is what I'd say. CE also has some significant performance issues from what I've heard, related to the smoke system and how they update tiles or something. I can't confirm as I have no interest in using it.

Rim73 is broken and outdated and will cause several serious issues with your game.
Pick Up And Haul can be broken sometimes and killing your framerate, one time my storage is full and my colonist is picking up a corn but theres no empty storage nearby but they just keep trying to pick it up and somehow killing my framerate. an unlikely scenario but just a heads up

A lot of mods depend on Jecstools, don't they? What is wrong with Jecstools btw?

Jecstools is a very heavy framework that injects a lot of scripts into your game that can considerably slow things down even with none of the mods that make use of those scripts installed. The mods that do tend to use jecstools are also generally very heavy on the scripting and have their own significant effect on performance. Like RimWorld of Magic is an amazing mod and is very "playable" if you accept your TPS is going to be significantly lower than normal, while the Vampire mod borders on unplayable slow because of roof checks on the pathfinding. Last I checked anyway.

"Intentional performance hog for stress testing purposes" should be avoided too I suppose.

Thanks a lot for the tip regarding Jecstools. I already removed it before starting a new game.

I really want to get my mod list clean of anything hampering my mid-/endgame performance. I will appreciate any more tips on what mods to avoid.
