Uninstalled all my mods. Still getting errors?
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2803035086

Hope this image is viewable. After being unable to load past the world generation screen I decided to uninstall all my mods except for the core, royalty, and ideology dlcs. (Thanks to those who tried to help me understand how to clear my mod cache, I'm just unable to figure it out haha) I still get this error message but I am finally able to load/play the game again.

Now I'm going through the process of adding mods bit by bit and seeing if any mods prevent me from going through the world generation screen and playing the game.

Is there any way to further clear out the error log like unsubscribing from all the mods that are not supported by the current game version anymore? I've been keeping them there in the hopes that they get updated in the future but if it will prevent me from playing I can unsubscribe from them as well.

You need to go into your system folders and delete them and then uninstall and reinstall if you had any sort of large mod list.

Where do I find that and how do I do that? Do you happen to have a step by step video on youtube I could use? I am NOTORIOUSLY bad at ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ things up computer-wise lmao!
You need to go into the c drive on your computer, go into the view tab, click show hidden folders. Then you need to go find anything rimworld related and trash can them, you will have to get some help, but check under the steam workshop folder and ludeon studios folders.
You don't need to delete anything. That error is because you are subscribed to two different versions of the more planning mod on the workshop, unsubscribe from one of them. When the game boots it has to populate the in-game mod list and it checks your subscribed mods and their info, it doesn't load any of the mod data if they aren't enabled it just reads what they are supposed to do, sometimes there can be an error detected at this point which is what you ran into.

You usually don't need to delete anything related to RimWorld unless you have tried manually installing mods in the past or accidentally removed core from your modlist.
That just isn't true, if you have had heavy mod packs and then unsub and change mods you can get all sorts of errors.

Config errors are fairly common if you have Mod A storing some setting related to Mod B and you remove Mod B but keep Mod A. These are almost always harmless and can also usually be cleared by changing the mod options in-game or just booting the game a second time.

Unsubscribing doesn't leave any mod files behind and config files for mods that aren't enabled are ignored.

This game's mods don't edit the code itself. When a mod is removed, the mod is removed. The first time loading the game post removing mods it may throw errors, but you'll notice that if you shut down and then start again, they don't repeat.

Modpacks often have config files that serve multiple purposes; if the pack you have installed has 12 mods and you remove 6 of them, you are very likely to get errors because the pack is built assuming you have all twelve. They still aren't editing the code.
ive had errors from uninstalled mods cause game ruining issues after 3 years into a colony so i obviously disagree with ya'lls assesment.
What you are describing is an error in a save, and disabling mods for a save can mess it up since data is stored in that save and you might have pawns, items etc in that save. This thread is about error when loading the game and not a save though, and the issue you described does not happen on game level.
No, i've unsubbed mods, started a new campaign, and had the unsubbed mods effect my fresh set. Ya'll wrong, it's ok that you don't know, but ya wrong.

No you haven't. It's physically impossible for that to happen for multiple reasons. The first as mentioned when a mod is unsubscribed from the mod files are deleted. The second reason is mod files only ever exist in their respective and isolated Steam workshop folder, they are never moved out of there, and when you boot the game RimWorld looks at your enabled mods and compiles that data from your individual workshop folders into memory. They never touch the base game files, modded RimWorld data only ever exists in RAM. If you aren't subscribed to a mod you can't enable it because the files don't exist, and if it's not enabled then none of those files (that don't exist) are being looked at when the game boots.

If you have a question about how mechanics work feel free to ask, there are a lot of people on these forums that would be willing to explain them to you.
Why not use RimPy to check? I prefer to use RimPy to manage unsubscription/deletion of mods nowadays.
That mod does not change the basic files. You can easily test that by changing any item and then starting a new game without the mod active. It will have the default values. If that mod would change the game files, it would be reverted any time you validate the game files, which would be pretty horrible. Even loading the saved filed where you changed the stuff without the mods show the default values.

It changes definitions of items, but it does not change the definition files. The mod page even states:
Troubleshooting
At any time if you have an issue with this mod at game load you can delete the file called "stats.xml" located in:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\InGameDefEditor
Replacing "<username>" with your Windows user name
I've sure had it change a biome setting even without the mod being subbed, ya'll just wrong, dont' trust these guys, clean up your files after any big mod pack and start fresh trust me. Fake experts abound.
