Butcher table / cooking station. Does material matter?

There is someone I know that firmly belives material will effect food poisoning chance (tells people to not make a wood butcher table because it's unsanitary) and tells many others about it.
But I have never seen anything this existing. And cannot find any discussions about it. I always thought it was BS but just want to confirm if I'm gonna call them out on it.

no, in vanilla material doesnt matter at all for any crafting benches

HCSK does have material influencing workspeed, its advised to use tin or aluminium if you are using that modpack
just like plastic medical beds are best for immunity gain
there is no sanitary benefit to it tho, not even in HCSK so i doubt any mod adds it
