At least thats what i experienced.
But i do play in temperate or boreal forest only so yeah
I've never had issues with caravans becoming thirsty.
It adds more, but it's a question of if that's what you want.
It sounds like there is a new system for auto-packing water bottles, might be something configured in the mod options.
What does the swimming pool give?
If thirst is giving you that much of problem then turn it off for now. The best part of the mod is about building the infrastructure, not in thirst needs.
I agree with this. I also found the thirst system a bigger burden that it was worth.
I will say that the "big issue" with Dubs Hygiene is that it takes additional time out of a pawns day, and pawns can become quickly overwhelmed with thirst especially, leaving the pawns very little time to do their other tasks. So, to me, I usually have to compensate for adding Dubs Hygiene with some other mods that help to give the pawns more time - like pick up and haul, or increased walking speed, etc.
F.e. the pawn lies down thirsty.
Hauler nearby is also thirsty, what he will do - run to the well on the opposite side of the map (realism waters turned on)
1. > well > get water > base > give bottle to incap pawn
2. > well > get water > wash incap pawn
3. > well > get water for himself > wash
It took around 10 hours due to sand and map size ><
Those are also 'wells' think of them as the founts in a park those work too.
All u gotta do is build it Pipe it to the water network then they'll use those instead of going to a well and doing that. Ideally build the water tower too to store the water which i assume u did.
