Multiple Lovers

Well one of my colonist has 3 lovers (Handsome devil ). Problem is all his lovers want to sleep with him. Double bed is not enough for this you know. Anyway to satisfy everyone?

So long as everyone's a lover with at least someone else in the room, having multiple beds in a room will no longer count as a barracks. Residents still won't like sharing a bed with someone they're not a lover with and they won't be able to do lovin' with lovers they don't share a double bed with, but it counts as sleeping together.

That's fine, you can have a double bed for the guy and one of his lovers (potentially on rotation for distributing the lovin mood boost) and single beds for the others. So long as they're all lovers of the guy it'll be a bedroom.

there is a mod for it. Something about endless beds. It lets you build up to 100 person beds. There you can fit all spouses in. Again. completle trash this isnt in the vanilla game. They add stuff like 50999999999999 lovers but no beds that support more then 2.

The entire pawn romance stuff is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥, tbh. Especially with Ideology, it's become a chore to make pawns share a bed unless you either min-max your ideology to get pro-free love (2/3 or 3/4 of the options prevent pawns in same bed unless married) or use psycasts and stuff to make pawns marry each other quickly.. And marriage is still totally RNG based and can be busted up at any time by almost any pawn in any situation, I've save-scummed relationship breakups a couple times out of curiosity, and never get the same result twice in a row - a pawn will break up, then I reload, and the pawn instead proposes and gets dumped, then I reload and the pawn proposes successfully, etc.. It doesn't seem to have anything at all tied to anything.

If pawns were more aggressive about pursuing getting laid while not married it could be an interesting mechanic, with some of them getting frisky and upsetting other pawns, being shamed etc by their colony like Hester Prynne, having a third pawn who recently hit on one of the couple getting upset and starting a social fight, etc... Then it'd be pretty cool. But as it currently is, double beds are mostly there for me to save on making bedrooms for each individual, and not much else aside from a small buff and pawns which lose sleep every day cycle.

Even when pawns cheat (which is incredibly, incredibly rare to the point I've only seen it a couple times in 3k hours played), it's mainly just annoying and doesn't really affect anything in the game.

Having more than one lover is vanilla. Pretty sure it's been possible, although rare, even before ideology allowed you to not have a massive debuff to success chance if the pawn already has a lover. There wasn't a way to deal with it before 1.3 though.

Yup, they will even cheat while married, that was in vanilla before royalty.

theres triple beds in a mod. just search up bigger beds. you will find it.

This is why I use the polyamory beds mod. Seems silly to add multiple husbands/wives in ideology and not beds to accomodate the lifestyle. Nice simple little way to fix it. There is also a mod that just lets anyone with a bed in the same room do lovin without needed to be sleeping in the same bed which would also be a work around mod though haven't tried it. The uh, handholding mod or it's non handholding counterpart could probably cover it as well.

Without mods you can just have all the lovers sleep in one room in multiple beds as has already been stated. Only recently learned that myself. Not my favorite solution due to the lovin issues.

There are mods for that though definite content warning there. Ironically a barely safer version on the steam workshop of all things.
