Trade with visitors?
Hello, I am very new to the game and from time to time neutral visitors come to my colony. The info or tutorial text says I should trade with them, but I can't figure out how to do that, there are simply no interaction options to trade. What am I doing wrong?

There are different kinds of visitors. Some just come to chill shortly and some want to trade. If the message says they have stuff to trade, a click on that message should focus the camera on the pawn with the "?" which is the trader of those visitors. You can use a pawn (preferably one with high social skill and a working jaw) to order to trade with them.

Click on one of your colonists, then right-click on the visitor with the ? above his or her head.

You'll get the option to interact with the visitor.

The colonist with the higher Social skill will be better to use but overall, the main thing is to get a trade done, so if someone is busy, just get another person to talk to them. You'll have plenty of chances to trade and build up your silver or inventory , so you can use various colonists as you want to train up their skills as well (though to train up Social skill faster, just take prisoners as often as you can and Reduce Resistance on them even if you don't plan to recruit them).

The visitors usually stay for about a few days though, so you have some time to have your colonist finish his current job or even wake up, before talking to the visitor.
