Also, I hope you are not planning on moving to Mars. The calendar there will drive you insane.
That was a never a thing. The earliest versions of RimWorld, back when the "world map" was a flat rectangle, used 15 day seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. That couldn't work when the globe was added since the southern hemisphere has inverted seasons, so those 4 seasons were renamed to quadrums, Aprimay, Jugust, Septober and Decembary. Number of days in a year didn't change, it was purely a cosmetic change so you didn't have "hot winters" south of the equator, now you have hot Decembarys.
It doesn't sound great because the game would take way too long to get through a year.
Stop telling someone their idea is good just so their feelings don't get hurt.
