Where do you put the marriage spot?

Simply put, where do you put the marriage spot in your colony? Do you build a temple to put it in, or do you simply put it in the first building you throw up, or do you place it outside? Do you have any specific decorations you always place around it, or do you like to change it up every time? Links to images would be nice.

I personally like building circles of standing stones, surrounded by forests, and place the marriage spot within that:

As you can tell, I've taken much care to decorate the area with snow beets, potato plants, haygrass etc.

(I plopped down the marriage spot early in the game, added the farm plots later and never bothered to move it. In previous games I at least put down some flower patches around it, but this time they just stand in the snow beet field, it's fine. :)

I just tend to put it outside, centrally located, near the food supply, so they don't have far to go once the marriage ends and they all rush for the meal stacks.

If it rains they do the marriage inside, even with a marriage spot outdoors, by the way.

I do the same. It's the best spot, really, unless one has the time to build an even better spot right next to a dining room with food/entertainment, etc. Outside spots aren't a good idea, considering the relatively new "Drenched" mood debuff if it's raining.

If it rains they hold the wedding indoors even if there is a marriage spot outdoors.
Not sure what they would do if it were to start raining during the wedding, though.

I had one marriage where the bride's dad was currently a prisoner (He had just been a raider). So I moved the wedding spot to the Prison barracks so her dad could be there.

I don't usually RP, but that was just too obvious to miss.

Prisoners don't seem to care about weddings though. The dad just wandered around awkwardly.

I usually put it in the rec room / cafeteria, if I planned well enough to have special space for it in that room, it's there.. if not they just all cluster around pool tables, etc.

I screenshot most weddings though I didnt upload all of them. Scrolling through though it looks like they would use a rain location (somewhere else) if the spot is outside and it is raining the day they decide to get married (or at least they did in Beta)

If I ever get the time I tend to build an old style chapel and place the wedding spot in there.

i place it in the tome to remind them its till death do us part . that way if they cheat or break up they at least know why they became a hat
