lack of faction bases even on the crowded setting?
is anyone else having a issue where the world has very low faction bases (one base per faction) even with the setting set to crowded when making a world? and does anyone know what could be causing this?

its also preventing some modded factions from spawning when they are suppose to spawn.

Looks like world gen failed around the generate faction step. Probably due to an error while generating a leader for a faction, but logs are required to tell.

Confirmed world gen is failing while trying to generate a faction leader. It's an alien faction leader. Could be Real Faction Guest; plenty of people had problems running that mod. Could be one of your race mods, not liking some other mod.

oh...then i don't know what race mod could be causing this cause i never had this issue before, it just started happening when i downloaded a mod called "radworld" recently. maybe a update broke a mod?

Could be. Easiest way to see what's been updated is to go to the Workshop. From there, you can Browse -> Subscribed Items -> Subscribed items (on the right) -> Date updated.

Could also be a conflict with radworld, since that's the last thing you added.

Going by the method names, it looks like it's erroring out when trying to determine the skin color of that pawn.

but i disabled radworld though and it was still happening. i even unsubscribed to it and went as far as to deleting the entire game and then reinstalling it and its still been happening. still that one base per faction issue

Look at the factions tab. I'm not sure exactly how this brand of failure goes down, but the troublesome faction is going to be either the last one listed or one of the factions not listed. Specifically, I'm not sure if the faction is added to the list before it tries to generate a leader or after.

If you know which mods add which factions, you can probably rule out any of the other factions listed. So remove the mod that added the last faction and remove any mod that has a faction not listed. Confirm the world gen works. If so, you can add those mods back in until you find the one failing world gen.

What race mods you using? and also real faction guest is troublesome if you ARE using it. I am assuming you aren't given what you're asking but are you using the faction control mod? Sometimes certain combinations of settings with that mod causes this.
It looks like it's failing at generating the skin color of the faction leader though which is interesting.

well, there is plenty of race mods that i'm using really. and no i'm not using a faction control mod. just to name a few races: Ferian, Revia, androids and its expansion, android tiers, Lapelli, apini and hisa

If it's not a big problem a complete list of what you're using would be better, as it might help me help you figure out your issue. But all of the ones you listed are race i personally don't use because they aren't as stable as i'd like. Race mods that add new and interesting stuff are nice for sure, but often problematic for compatibility.
Android tiers isn't so bad on that front but you might consider https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2465268770 for robotic pawns if you need something similar but lighter weight.

Also, i'm not sure but if you have enough race mods it could cause the problem for the same reasons as the Faction Control mod, which seems to be attempting to make too many faction base groups. Not sure since the error is related to skin though.

my short list is around 500 lol its a huge pain any time something like this happens, so i've gotten the hang of narrowing it down

Ok, Mismagius, first try turning off only your race mods and see if you have the problem. if that does fix it, you'll have to turn them each back on one by one until it happens again.
If that doesn't fix it, we'll know to look elsewhere. I don't know that real faction guest causes this problem but it's caused other issues so it's also worth turning off, but only after you've completed the races test.

ok so, the issue i was having is no longer a thing. it would seem like hisa was causing the problem as the update from the mod mentioned about colors. i think that mod was the cause of it
