Brain Frostbite Scar

One of my best pawns got attacked by an arctic feralisk and can't do anything anymore because he has a frostbite scar in his brain... I've been struggling to find a way to cure it. I heard of the healer mech serum but never saw one or where to get one. Anyone got a solution?

Vanilla: Healer Mech Serum or Blow the colonist's head off and resurrect them with a resurrector mech serum. Alternatively, Luciferium will heal scars every so often.

There's also a bunch of mods that add brain surgeries. I will forever recommend EPOE for those wanting more part replacements.

Healer mech serums are rare quest rewards, and I think you can find them in ancient dangers sometimes. Luciferium is probably going to be the more viable option, it's actually not that difficult to keep a single colonist on it these days. I would say make a combat caravan capable of clearing dangers, move them a few tiles away and settle, then clear the dangers and see what you get, then abandon that new "colony" and repeat the process a few times. If you don't find any healer mech serums then you will probably have a lot of luciferium and can keep your colonist on it for the rest of your playthrough.

here is a tip for if you do not have any luciferium for luciferium dependent colonists. you can put them in cryptosleep caskets and it will halt the luciferium dependency process as long as they are in there. i would advise that you do this to colonists that are often used for battling and when not in use, put them back in the cryptosleep caskets. but keep in mind that colonists will get a sickness as soon as they come out from the caskets which can be a problem as they randomly throw up while sick
