Lack of outdoors for mountain base

my colonists constantly suffer from lack of outdoors and beauty but even outside my base theres no beauty to be found since this is where i keep all the garbage and chunks. How would you solve this?

I suggest having your outdoors need and beauty needs as seperate things. Make your indoors beautiful, and have your colonists go outside every now and then

Flower beds increase beauty so its not like you need to put sculpture out there if you dont need too. Also put some recreation objects out there so that your pawns will find reason to go out there when they are not assigned to chop tree's, plant flowers, ect.

You can click the roof map-mode in the lower-right to see if your mountain base has any areas with a thin rock roof. You can remove that and use that area for something like recreation or solar panels :)
Or one of those scanners that need to be placed outside

Something that can really help with mountain bases is to make your rec room outdoors. So intentionally unroof it. Then, when they need to socialize, shoot pool, or play some cards, they'll be outside for a while which will easily satisfy their outdoors need.

It's hard to say without seeing the OP's map, but I'd look for Thin Roof tiles and try to make an "atrium," maybe with a Telescope in it and a horse-shoe pin. A Table and Chairs there with "Meeting Spot/whatever" left toggled on might help, too.
