But to be fair, I play tribals (one tribal colonist start) and I don't use cheesy killboxes or trap tunnels
And by the time I reach late game, I get bored and start a different playthrough :p

And, then the playthrough is over because of a catastrophic event or I want to start a new playthrough. That's it. That's my typical "long term goals" gameplay. (I nearly never try to "Win" via Spaceship victory.)
I had thought about mentioning it, but decided to keep my comment simple rather than muddying the waters with explanation for something they might not even have been interested in.
