So, in vanilla, Alzheimer can be cured by Healer Mech Serum.

You may be able to kill the person and use a Resurrector mech serum as well, but I have not tested this.

if they become a problem, lead or fire works pretty well.

that or turn em into a luciferium fiend so when they do work right they make up for when they dont work right. also it'll kill em over time so you dont have to deal with em no more.

Keeping old people alive (and still useful) in general is fairly easy. A bionic or prostetic heart to stop their heart attacks, a bionic spine to remove the "bad back" debuff. Frail and Alzheimers are the only traits that proof difficult. A bionic brain fixes alzheimers, though I do not remember if that's a modded item or not. A single healer mech serum to remove Frail is, in my opinion, worth it to keep a valuable member of your colony at peek performance

Yes. The only health "problem" healer mech serum can't treat is luciferium addiction.
