Any use for goats?
A bunch of goats joined my colony. I have plenty of food so I don't really want to kill them (or at least all of them) if they have a use. I just wanted to know if there was anything special about them. The wiki doesn't seem to have very much

If you've got animals you don't want, you could try selling them.

Not really they give milk but barely enought o set of a percent of what they eat. But they worth good money at beginning and are a useful way to lvl animal handling skill as they cant go mad

Goats are a hybrid milk/meat animal. They are about 30% less efficient than cows in food to milk production, about 60% less productive in milk per animal per day, but breed about 60% faster than cows. If you maintain a herd about twice the size you would of cows, they will eat a similar amount and produce slightly less milk but significantly more meat and leather.

Men what sheet you people use to know all this stuff, I usally hunt the map by turning hordes of elephants into menhunter, let them destroy the mech clusters for me and then collect theire meat and leather.

Goats are great. As mentioned, they don’t eat much and breed like crazy, You can get a bunch of meat along with the milk in no time. I usually go for them over cows ‘cause with cows it takes forever to build up a herd.
