What does healer mech serum cure?
I have a prisoner thst I would like to recruit, but he has a nice bio and traits. But, he has a wooden foot and a burn scar with trauma savant on his brain (from the shock lance).

I have a healer mech serum. It says it cures the worst health condition, but what is worse? The missing foot ot the brain scar?
And will the trauma go away, when I cure the brain scar?

The wooden foot will not be targeted by the serum, ever. A missing foot with no replacement would.
I don't think trauma savant would disappear when you healed the brain scar, but there's little reason to do so since they ignore the damage to their brain due to trauma savant. It would remove any pain from the scar (which realistically it shouldn't be able to get in the first place, the brain has no pain receptors) and render them a little less likely to die if they get hit in the brain by something but that's it.

A healer mech serum will remove the brain scar but leave trauma savant. I had this happen to me today. I assume a second serum would then remove trauma savant, but I actually like keeping it.

Healer mech serum removes one hediff, which is one line from the health report. What gets removed is decided by RimWorld.CompUseEffect_FixWorstHealthCondition.DoEffect. It looks for, in order:
  1. Any lethal condition past 80%.
  2. The largest bleeding injury, if the pawn will bleed out within the hour.
  3. Brain scar.
  4. Any missing body part larger than a hand.
  5. Eye scar.
  6. Infection / Illness.
  7. Anything chronic that can kill.
  8. Anything chronic.
  9. Brain injury.
  10. Missing hand / foot.
  11. Addiction.
  12. Any scar.
  13. Anything else.
The brain scar would be #3 on the list, savant would be #8, and the foot would be the least important at #10.

Thank you very much! It is nice to know, that it is at least possible to cure the trauma.
I guess I have to hunt for some more serum. :)
