In addition to that, there is usually some community driven part of the tool that helps with conflicts that the mod author may not see/care to test. This community driven part usually happens automatically as people use the tool, and make changes to it.
The problem that most people describe is that the community driven part of the tool is constantly out of date, and is always playing catch up. When a mod is first released, the only information the tool will have to go off of is what the author says, which may or may not be correct.
It also can't handle certain scenarios where either answer is correct. e.g.: If I have two mods changing the same texture, just with slightly different results, technically either one being loaded first won't matter, but you won't see the other one being active. In that way, it's all down to what the player wants, and nothing that the tool can do will be "correct"
On the flipside, load order guides are only good if they are kept up to date with the mods that they use and any new patches that come out. If the guide gets out of date (or doesn't include a now needed patch) it is also worthless to the reader.
tl;dr: neither is perfect, everyone needs to be able to troubleshoot when you modify a game. Or be capable of complaining on the forums. Either or.
i do like just clicking sort and let rimpy take effect just run it.
tho i think rimpy is a life saver for me tried so many guides was gonna give up and
just play vanilla.
any way both of you comments are really good i assume both of you are modders or know alot about mods tho astasia is a modder tho i swear ive seen mods made by s/he
allso did not know that that very few mods need any sorting as astasia said
