What's Your Favorite "Hated" Trait For a Pawn?
The "Greedy" trait gets some pretty understandable hate because of the mood debuff when a pawn's room sucks, but I find it fairly useful at times.

I make all of my bedrooms the same way, but add a statue or the like for Greedy colonists. This makes their room slightly impressive, and satisfies them. Filth knocks down the impressiveness of the room to decent, and sets them off. I use the greedy people to know when I need to grab someone to clean the base, since I'm usually focused on other stuff and their rooms are among the last to go. Really helps when I need to focus on other things, and before I have a dedicated janitor sweeping up the place.

So anyways, what trait[s] does everyone hate, but you enjoy for one reason or another?

it's a toss up between Wimp and Body Purist. I avoid both like the plague as the make the pawns shockingly unreliable and difficult to manage.

Night Owls, Neurotics, and Transhumanists are good. Tortured Artist can be nice, too.

Greedy is great, but getting an extra one can raise some issues. :)
greedy is fine, they just need a good room, Jealous is cringe because 2 jealous pawns cannot be happy so long as either one isn't dead

Night Owl is one of the best traits I thought? All it takes is just a different schedule for a hefty mood bonus. Can be annoying early game, but later on Night Owls easily were my happiest colonists.

Body purists, depressives, and teetotalers are the ones I avoid. Wimps aren’t too bad as long as you don’t need them in the front line and neurotics get a sweet global work speed boost. Wouldn’t want them as starting pawns but there’s worse.

I don't know if people actually dislike this trait, but I value Too Smart very highly. Fast Learner is in my top 3 traits, and Too Smart is Fast Learner with a manageable downside.

Psychopaths....sure they don't get any moodlets from socialising but that also means they don't give a #$%^about Nelly having compared them to a fatnuzzled moofalo....and even better; they don't care about butchering up humanlikes either....the meat is great for kibble (as animals don't mind) and the leather can be used to make all manner of handy stuff to sell back to wherever the victim came from xD

Pyromaniacs I don’t mind, their occasional mental breaks are manageable by having someone follow them around, and one time they made for a hilarious moment when one burned down my entire machine room.

Haven’t had one try and set fire to the chemfuel storage yet though...

Fortunately, no. Though I keep them outside on shelves near the mortars.

Highly Neurotic. +40% work speed, whenever they're not on a mental breakdown.
ROE Apr 6, 2021 @ 10:44am
Body purists and Chemical fascination.

I agree. It just seemed like one of those "what's the best positive with what seems to be a negative" kind of question thread. And, "Night Owl" is almost always at the top of the list for traits that might seem negative, but are great. (I couldn't just leave it hanging without mention. :))

I love them because there's someone awake and working at night. If there's a fire/emergency, they're there and ready to respond. I also try to make Night Owls into Cooks for 'round the clock meal production. :)

(One negative that takes work to get around - It's hard to get them paired up for marriage/relationship chances, sometimes.)
