How to change your Ideology after starting?

I just got the DLC and started a new game. But because I was a bit overwhelmed with the Ideology choices at start, I kept it very basic. But after getting a basic settlement going, I can't find a way to change it.
Do your choices evolve somehow after starting? Can you chose new things at some point?

Nope, but you can edit the ideologies in dev mode.

There is no way through normal gameplay to adjust any of the settings in your ideology. You can however accept and convert to a different ideology if you want.

You can adjust any setting in your ideology after starting the game but it requires turning on dev mode, that causes an edit mode button to appear on your ideology tab and it allows you to edit anything in an ideology.

Oh, that's a shame. I really like quick random starts and was hoping that it would have a more organic development in your colony after starting. From basic choices to more advanced ones further down the road. Kind of like how religion starts in Civ 5. But then with more options and not just religion ofc.

The way it works now is more like a fancy faction editor. Which is cool too, but not what I was hoping for.

@Darzai You are not the only one who would have liked evolving ideologies, I've seen many talking about it and asking for it, and I would also have loved it myself.

As this is one of the main complaints in the negative reviews, I expect them to implement this in some way. Not sure why it wasn't build with this in mind from the start.

schnappkatze is correct. As you perform rituals successfully you get points. When you have enough points you can modify your ideology.

try fluid ideology. It allow you to revamp your ideology everytime you collect enough ritual points.

My question was from back when this was not possible yet. Before those updates. It is not relevant anymore.
