Raiding quest?

Started a new game recently in an extreme desert with required raiding, but I'm not getting any raiding world quest popups despite being pretty far in now (90+ days). Had 0 problems with this in my previous playthrough.

Is there anything that triggers these? Or anything known that bugs them out?

its kinda random when and how many you get...

don't raid everything when you see it, keep some in reserve just in case.
in the beginning, you do need a random event, but after that, its kinda ok

easiest way to move around is to go into dev mode > generate quest > opportunitysite_worksite

Raiding quests just give some resources but are mainly for users of the raider meme to get something to raid without pissing off everyone.

The problem is that I'm using raiding as my ideology with the precept set to required. Since the start of the game I've received 0 targets and have a -18 mood debuff I can't get rid of. I'm up to 5 Colonists and in my previous play I didn't start seeing them until I hit 3.

I think its temperature dependent; so since you're in extreme desert, you just aren't going to see many of these camps (too hot for most people).

Maybe it just doesn't work in Extreme Desert (and possibly other) maps? Worked fine in a hotter jungle (my last playthrough). The Desert I'm in rarely breaks 90.

Gonna try moving to a new biome soon to see if it starts generating them.

I easily miss the alerts, did you check the active quest tab? They'll pop up in there too. I usually have 2-3 at all times.

Yeah lol. I've been checking the map constantly. Still only got just the one so far. Maybe its bugging out due to my close proximity to mounts/ocean.
