For instance Dromedary's "Camels" Can't be taught to do anything.... But a Dog can be taught to do everything....
Perhaps you have a lot of animals on your map that are not trainable...
Donkeys, Stallions, Muffalo and Boomalopes were always trainable in 1.2. They are not now?
they are pack animals and still are pack animals but as per what I remember they were never trainable.... The boomalope might have been not sure....
Hmmm just checked wiki it says the dromedary should be trainable for Guard Only but I am positive you can't as of right now train a dromedary for guard so perhaps their has been some tweeks then....
This means most herd animals, the sort you'd breed for food, cannot be trained at all. Pigs, cattle, fowl etc - they are used for ranching and that's about it. Some other animals which cannot be trained, including cats and tortoises, are there specifically to be pets. They are not there to be useful in any way except as moral support.
Note - certain animals like donkeys, horses, etc can now be ridden when part of a caravan, vastly speeding up caravan movements.
Please tell me there is a mod to fix this? Can't even train them to guard or attack anymore?
That's what dogs, wolves, bears, and others like them are for.
